Deciding on media form!

Have decided not to embed the media but to experiment with a new software programme which allows me to embed my own audio and video.... Let's see what really happens eh! I don't know how I am going to get me students to do their project in reality... It may take alot longer than I think....I think I am going to get them in the study suite next week to see how they can edit with Windows Movie Maker. At least today and yesterday....we used lots of different forms... 1. Smartboard, linked to websites, and quick time audio for listening exam practice 2. Website experiments for listening with answers...the feedback from the students who were actively using them was good 3. Using Audio Hijack Pro and Audacity (although I prefer PC based Cool Edit Pro) to record idents, intros, and outros for their weekly radio show. Love using audio software that I am familiar with...the students are impressed too that I can do it infront of them in a matter of minutes!

  1. Jason, sorry for not getting back to you on the iBeam (dyslexic) type face question. Just been stupidly busy. This is a link that will take you through to the typefaces / fonts designed by students here at Looe. http://www.i-dat.org/projects/ibeam/dyslexics.htm

I wasn't able to get to the workshop last Saturday sounds like it was good though.

Hope things are good for you.
